Remove a court
Last updated: 2026-10-16
If a court listed on CourtlyGo is on private property, is not open to the public, or should not be shown for any other reason, you can ask us to remove it. You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need an account.
How to ask
Email hello@courtlygo.com with the link to the court page (or the OpenStreetMap link, or the street and the nearest crossing). Say that you are the owner, a resident, the operator, or someone who knows the place.
What happens
- We hide the court right away, usually within one working day, on the website, in the city data files, in the API and in the MCP server.
- It is added to our suppression list, so a later update of the OpenStreetMap data does not bring it back.
- We do not publish your name or your request. We keep your email only to answer you, and delete it when the request is closed.
- Where you can, please also correct the court in OpenStreetMap itself (for example access=private), so other services that use OpenStreetMap show it correctly. The edit in OpenStreetMap is yours to make; we cannot edit it for you.
What we already do not show
Courts at private homes, courts that OpenStreetMap marks as private, and courts that we judge likely to be private (next to houses, in residential areas, in gated communities, on school grounds) are never shown, and are not returned by the API or the MCP server: no name, no address, no coordinates. We show only how many possibly private venues were hidden. Clubs and hotels are listed with a note that they may be paid or members-only.
A listing is not permission to enter. Always follow the rules of the place and never enter private property.
